Newbie: Looking to buy Ibiza Cupra

Hi

I am new to the forum i have recently sold my NOS'd focus
Can be seen here

and I am looking
to buy a 2000-2002 Ibiza Cupra and spend some of my hard earnt cash making it stupidly fast.

After looking around into superchip prices etc.. I notice there is a Cupra 1.8T and an Cupra R 1.8T can anyone shed some light onto the differences between them?

Also if anyone has any tips on things to look out on whilst looking to buy an Ibiza Cupra (Common faults, bad rust spots etc..)

Sorry if i have asked questions for anything which can be found on the site I will be spending the next few hours reading previous topics to do as much reseach as I can, any replys welcome
