newbie question

Hi Guys,

I'm a little confused. I hope someone can help.
Just got the shareware version of Vag com and have been playing around with it. I would like to check out if the MAF is working correctly. Looking at the engine block I thought I would see that some of the measurement windows would show units as g/s but I don't.
Is this because I don't have a label file for my controller? Looking at a link posted by Uwe I saw a web page that showed "standardized measuring block groups for gasoline engines" It shows that the fourth window of group 002 would be air mass. On my car this is shown as a temperature. So I'm a little confused.
I have a 99 1.0l Arosa
The controller number is 030-906-027-AK.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

I'm afraid your engine management system -- I think it's an MP9 -- is nowhere near high-tech enough to fit into those standardized measuring blocks. Despite being a 1999 model, you're looking at early 1990's level of technology there, and I don't think you can get MAF readings from directly.

Thanks for that Uwe, that explains everything. Kinda sucks though.
You are right it is an MP9.0. Is there any info I can find that will tell me what all the measurement blocks mean for this? cheers
