Just a quick question - excellent site by the way!!

I've just bought a TDI FR and like the look of the Fabia rear wiper mod, which one is it and is there an install guide?

I've done a quick search but it's all a bit confusing.

I've seen 3 x part numbers?

6Y6 955 435- Skoda Fabia estate rear wiper arm
· 6Y0 955 425 - Skoda Fabia estate rear wiper blade
· 6Y6 955 435 - Skoda Fabia Hatchback Wiper Cover

Which one?

just lift the old cap, unscrew the nut, remove old wiper with some gentle persuasion, put new one on, screw on nut and replace cap!

you need the top one and the bottom one - reason being the hatch has the holes for the water spray and the estate does not as fabia estate is on roof or high level light.

that is from reading the other posts on this - i have not done this as my rear wiper works fine and dandy as is.

no doubt will get corrected if wrong and told of for not having changed mine, but hay ho

you will need 3 parts

6y6 955 435 fabia cover
6y0 955 425 blade
6y6 955 707 wiper arm
all parts under £18

i did this last week to my leon..huge improvement and so eay as well
i have put an up to date leon prices.. do a search under "up to date" this will confirm parts required
