Newbie status updating?

Hi,

For some reason my status hasn't changed, even though 24 hrs have lapsed since I reached my post count. Seems a bit odd or have I missed something?

Only ask as I would like to be able to post in the other cars for sale section and cannot at the moment. Desperately trying to sell my current car to make way for the new Leon!

Is it that you cannot post - or that once posted you cannot see it..

If its that latter - then i suspect rule 6 you may have forgotten to read

No, if I click to post a new thread it just says I dont have the necessary permissions. So I just can't post.

Just a waiting game mate then, it'll update at some point, there's no set time as to when it does it IIRC.

There's a time registered & post requirement - neither are high, but both requirements are to be met prior to promotion (which is still automatic, within 24hrs)
