yeah I got it from Awesome. There is a Portugese guy on here that fit it to his car and had all sorts of trouble getting the replacement to fit. I spoke to him a while ago about it and her said it wasnt worth the hassle he had.

Yeah Rich, that is the cover rather than the replacement. It looks fine to be honest, a pretty decent match and a good fit. Think I paid £31 including postage. For what I want, I like it. The replacement A pillar trim was only £7 after I took my Nomad gauge mount out.

They are a piece of piss to fit too. They come with instructions that tell you a basic way of fitting them, but then another way in which you can hide the wiring and pipe tomake it look 100% OEM.

They are really well made and not like some parts that need trimming or bodging to fit. You wont be disappointed. If the colour doesnt match then just get some gloss black on or even carbon wrap it??? There is an idea for D.K lol

Rich, the one in the link you sent is the cover, not the replacement part. Dunno if you knew that mate.

If you fit it properly there are no rubbing issues mate. Mine is fine, had a good 40minute drive earlier with no problems.

The offset one is on the website - the replacement one. Going by the picture it looks like a replacement rather than a cover. They get them over from the USA apparently. The Portugese guy on here said it was a mare to fit. I had a thread on here somewhere if you wanna have a look

just found it. this is what he said

support of the gauge as it is now is not how it comes!
I had to order changes, and fiber to the original support!
still took some work, and it was necessary to paint!
I ordered the new south, leon to 1m (which is equal to the golf iv, supposedly)

will call awesome again just to make sure it fits without to much trouble

I bought a Newsouth Steering wheel gauge pod the other day. Thought I'd stick a picture up to show you all. Really easy mod if you take your time and it's different to the Nomad pillar pods.

Let me know what you think.
