Has anybody bought the double gauge holder for the top of the steering column? Would love to see a pic of it. I want a boost and like temp gauge

Great work, thanks for that. sadly it looks like it would block the trip computer on our Leons =( its a shame, I really wanted the steering mounts- a lot less hassle than the center console mounts

Has anybody seen a double one that doesnt have the gap in the middle? or has both of the gauges over to the right? I use my trip computer all the time so dont want to block my view of that. But the double gauges on the steering wheel do look awesome

If someone managed to make a good one that has the 2nd pod to the right of that one- so you could clearly see the trip computer- and a nice finish Im sure many people would want to buy them off them!

I emailed NewSouth Performance and they said with the way they have things set up at the minute they cannot make them for an affordable price, but they will have a think about it to see if there is anything they can do. So basically a no. Theres a gap in the market there if someone wants to make a bit of cash! Would only take one mould to be made and then to vacuum form them. If I had access to a vacuum former still then I would do it lol

Hmm, you can buy this for under £10: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-Black-Twi...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item518d18da62

Then just attach it to the steering yourself, and mould it in if you wanted. Anybody know how you could mould that in? Use some plastic filler or something, sand then spray?

Edit: Oh just seen the measurements, its 175mm wide, when our steering column is only about 160mm. Looks like it would be very hard to fit a double one on the column. Back to the drawing boards of fitting it elsewhere!

Does anybody know the smallest gauges you can buy? Could you get ones the size of the fuel gauge? Like 30mm? Would easily be able to mount 2 then

I bought a Newsouth Steering wheel gauge pod the other day. Thought I'd stick a picture up to show you all. Really easy mod if you take your time and it's different to the Nomad pillar pods.

Let me know what you think.

aswome gti sell them or used to when i looked at it ,

but went for the double pillar pod in end , with autometer gauges from halfords white oem look plus out of way of spedo , trip milage etc

plus id rather look slightly to right at gauges than look down with eyes completely off the road

you now you all do it as soon as a boost gauge is fitted , see what id does etc

The ones awesome sell (MK4 golf) don't fit the leon steering column perfectly they need to be modified to fit.
