Next mod..?

Think I am going to keep my car for another year, so till June next year...
So if I'm going to keep it that long I want something to do to it.

Question is what? Drop a 20v T in? Throttle bodies? Really can't think of much that would be worth while.

Any ideas to get the ball rolling?

If your super cash rich get an R36 and slap a Rotrex S/C on it!! I think there is one in a Mk2 Golf at Storm Developments in Aldermaston.

get one written off audi TT take 4wd system and engine, modify and fit it to your car, you now have one of the rarer ibiza's in the uk..

I like the sound of throttle bodies but the expense is a bit much for me.

I would be gain for a engine transplant but would need a car on the road all the time...

Throttle bodies can be fairly cheap if you can fabricate stuff yourself. A set of gsxr750 ones from ebay are about £75 with injectors etc. Then just make up an inlet manifold and put on an air filter, then buy a megasquirt circa £300 and set it up yourself works out at about £500. If you do it all yourself.

Couldn't find that one you are talking about but there are a few others.

Is it a golf VR6 I would be looking for? Would there be alot of work to get it mounted in?

Have you thought what insurance would be like on a V6 ibiza?

To go abit more crazy, how about a rear engined ibiza? Then you can go drifiting in your ibiza!
