Nice chatter sound but concerned need advise please

Well other than my run in with the ST at the weekend my LCR has developed a wicked chatter/turbo stall sound, now although the sound is quite cool and i haven't lost any power I know this sound is the turbo stallin and is not good for the car, My induction is an open cone filter with direct cold feed, Im running a 007 forge recirculator and about 16 psi of boost can someone give me some advice on where to start looking as I have done all the obvious like checking hoses and jubillees to make sure there tight?

check the dv and vacum pipe to it.

vacum pipe is fine mate it's nice and secure? thats what is confusing me nothing appears odd about the setup. sounds like this only slightly quieter.

ihave the same d/v and mines started to stick open quite a bit and i sometimes get that same chattery noise.dunno wether it means getting a new d/v or not??think you can service them??

yes you can service them, contact forge, they will advise you. probably worth doing a seal test.

I got a Forge Eliminator D/V on my VRS and under light acceleration it chatters all the time, i think its turbo stall but not to sure. Sound nice and is really loud on my car as the filter is in the nearside corner of the bumper

whats the eliminator DV mate?

Its a Forge re circulating dump valve. Its discontinued now i believe. It has a diaphram rather than a piston tho.
