Due to the weather this weekend there wasn't much done except for my gear gaiter and carbon wrapping surrounds.

Okay so despite the wind and rain down here in South East London I actually got my fog light tints done :)

Lights on:

I have to say they went better than expected and I'm actually quite chuffed with them.

Really coming on now mate, looking really good! How easy was changing the gear gator? Wanted to change to the cupra one ever since I got my car but always looks difficult ha

Thanks mate :). The gear gator is fairly straightforward, I felt the same as you before doing mine but in the end I just went for it. Just get a screwdriver into the clip holding the gear knob to the stick and it will pop open, I read on here that it can be re used but a new jubilee clip form halfords will do it or if your cheap like me then a cable tie will suffice lol. The knob will slide out and your left with the clip at the front of the gator which slides off with an almighty push and the clip at the bottom which will release with some persuasion from a butter knife.

Hope that helped? haha

Update:

Guys a little update for you...

Cupra wing mirrors arrived courtesy once again of Dave at seremotors. Took some persuasion but unclipped and popped off quite easy with no damage to silver FR cover clips:

Took advantage of the weather and painted my rear callipers on Saturday. Forgive the state of my alloys (she needs a clean badly! Bloody rain)

Also fitted my LED in the boot and my LED sidelight and headlight lamps will post a pic when it gets darker for full effect...

Yeah I bet. I bet they'll be really bad on glare aswell. I'd get an HID kit or Osram Nightbreakers If I were you. Much better and look just as good!
