I've got two questions: are the w8 center lamp and golf MKV light switch are plug&play ? And second question: how did you manage to install and get the instrument cluster working properly ?

also if you can help with the wiring digram cause i see 6 pin conector for the audi roof light and leon has four

From which car did you used the plastic under stearing wheel to add the MK5 light switch?

I appreciate this is rather old thread but there are so many oe+ mods in here that I've been considering for my FR that i need to ask i hope of some insight.
mk4 full FIS clocks - these i have already and just wanted to double check it was just case of transferring the guts to a Audi A3 8L housing?
Auto headlight switch - Do you need to use a mk5 switch for any particular reason or could i use a mk4 one i have already?
How come your switch and dimmer switch are separate as all the mk1 Leon switches ive seen are one complete unit. Do i need to source a different lower dash panel?
Mirror switch knob - what was that taken from, i used a Passat one in my mk4 but it never sat quite perfect.
Auto dimming rear mirror - is that from a TT...what year?
Climate control - Did you use LCD reversing film and change the LEDs to red as exactly how i want mine although i was considering the use of an Audi A3 8L one as the connections look the same.

You can't use the 8L cluster board as the electrics differ, you need mk4 dials put inside a 8L housing.
