Well ive finally done it. Drove about a mile with no lights on after comeing out a petrol station. Why are the :censored: dashboard lights allways on?

Had a few people flash me but just thought it was because my headlights (when on) are quite bright and people are allways flashing me.

Any one else done this or is it just me being a complete tit.

Ive done it on the motorway on a long drive home, gradually got darker, and I didnt notice that I had no lights in the dark until I left the motorway went right on a roundabout accross some lights and about 2 miles on in street lit roads, until I reached a part with no lighting - whoops!.

I now tend to drive all the time with at least side lights on just in case :)

Why don't you drive with your door open? If you don't hear a beeping noise, your lights are off! ;)

I've done it a couple of times in the leon now, and it's something i've NEVER EVER EVER done before. Stupid :censored: dash lights.

But then again, I do keep trying to turn the lights on, even when there already on, because there that :censored:  :censored: [:@] :censored: Rubbish

Done it once but generally now drive with my lights on a lot as people seem to not see silver cars as much and so I ended up several times with people pulling out etc.

If your lights are dazzling get them properly aligned!

Yea I did it once the other day, after leaving a multi car park. I felt a right idiot.

Cheers guys, glad a few others have done it. Might have to leave the door open in future bry, lol.

Well, at least you took it in the spirit it was meant....

In our Altea, we generally leave the lights on all the time - the 'coming home' function takes care of switching them off.
