Noel Dazely - anyone insure their Leon with them?

Hi all,
I recently got a quote from Noel Dazely (http://www.noeldazely.co.uk/) as my insurance is due. (Car is a Leon Cupra TDI by the way).

So, I got a quote, which beat my renewal by £150, and most other insurers by £300 or so. The staff seem friendly and helpful, but i've never been insured with a smallish company, so am a bit dubious.

Is anyone insured with them? How do you find them to deal with?

Cheers,
Matt

im not, but i tried them
PERSONALLY (before i get flamed) i found them rude on the phone and didnt want to take the business

i have no idea in terms of what would happen in the event of a claim, i think there are a few who are insured with them.

i have just taken insurance out with them, a guy named paul you need to ask for , hes very helpful. He didi me some great favours after my insurance company (axa) terminated my insurance because THEY had me insured on the incorrect car. He gave me a year no claims even though i had only gone 10 months when they cancelled. Noel Dazely beat most insurers by at least £200. worth a try mate. good luck

I am going through a claim with noel dazely - they don't seem to be able to organise a **** up in a brewery. Have been without my car for a month now - and am driving around in a barge of a courtesy car. nuff said! :(

Hi,
Sorry to hear you having a bad time with Noel Dazely. Yours was one of only a couple of negative comments I could find about them, so decided to take the policy out. Can't refuse a £140 saving.

Hope you get your claim sorted out soon.

Well I'd just like to say how fantastic Noel Dazely have been for me this year.

I initially insured wth them, after a lot of bartering ;) - on my car with fewer mods. All mods declared, the best price i could get.

I then added some mods to the car, and told them - I had to pay NO extra (at least for these particular mods)

i then removed business mileage from my insurance policy, but increased personal mileage from 10k/yr to 25k/yr and i had to pay NO extra :)

Well chuffed at that.
Admittedly I've never had to claim, and hopefully I never will. But they were friendly, courteous, helpful and tried their damn hardest to get me the best price and deal possible.

AF just don't have the same sort of customer service IMO, but I'd still use them if the deals right in the future.

Thanks for that Pabs, that is re-assuring. They do seem to be a decent bunch when i've phoned up.

yeah mate you should def go for it, you should keep eye out for these smaller companies because they are not part of these major search engines, when you compare 50 insureers etc, i found there are three main companies, greenlight, sky insurance and of course Noel Dazely, they came up the cheapest and most helpful. i have 6 points and 0 NCB, Drive LC with mod, price came up below a grand which was very good, i had BMW 325 before this and cost me an arm and a leg with AXA.

Yep, all done and dusted - just waiting to get my certificate through. Have some plans for light mods to the car too, so hopefully that should work out nicely.
