Noisy cold start!

Hi,
Has anyone experienced an excessive amount of noise from an induction kit/turbo when starting from cold?? It only lasts about a minute and then the throttle settles down. I expect the throttle to raise slightly on cold start but the noise is a bit of a concern.

your cold start will always be a bit louder because the engine idles at higher revs when first started up. i guess if its REALLY loud then it could be a problem....

its about as loud as when turbo is on about 1/2 max boost thro an induction kit although it only revs at about 1200-1300rpm
any ideas, its being doing it for a while doesn't seem to be doing any damage but just wanted to be sure

Just found a previous thread, answered all questions!, looks like nothing to worry about.
Aparently its just blowing fresh air into the exhaust to warm the cat quicker.

Was just going to post that

There is a secondary air pump that blows air onto the cat to help lower emissions when it's cold. Nothing to worry about
