i found the dint in the bonnet yesterday and now when washing the car i have found what can only be described as brail on the car . it is a strip about 10 inches long with tiny bubbles in the paint as if something has been brushed on the paint . would this be covered under waranty or will they say its something to do with me ?

The photo isn't that clear, but dealerships will always steer away from paint defects if they can.

its hard to get with the cam but the dark bits on the pic are raised little bubbles

If the paint does not look physically damaged and has just started bubbling I'd put that down to a cheap spray job or use of cheap materials.

yes the paint itself is not damaged/scratched its just bubbled in a line as if it its been done with a paint brush seems to be everything going wrong at once and i have already spent 470 quid on it this month so i am skint till after christmas now

Don't worry I've been stung a few times this year with my car.

Had to MOT it last week and fit new suspension, wheels and bushes this weekend.

Don't worry I've been stung a few times this year with my car.

My tax/mot and insurance is due this month so can also sympathise. I'm 19 with a 130 tdi. Nearly £1000 insurance, £115 tax and whatever an MOT is. And ive had a pay rise today to MINIMUM wage!

I'm £1200 a year right now and it'll be more next year and I'm 22!

Two fault claims and an SP30 ... saying that my SP30 comes off in March - But I had another fault claim this year so that'll be three

Two of them are not even my fault, I can't help it if my car gets vandalised!

Where abouts is it on the bonnet?

Has something been left under the bonnet and shut? Is there any marks on the inside of the bonnet?

no its been done from the outside that should be easy to sort out its the problem with the bubling paint i am woried about as i dont no if waranty will fix it i will be going to seat tomorrow to see what they say

thanks the seat dealer i go to is shite so will be interesting to see what they say cant see how they can prove its not a problem with the paint

quick update went today to book into seat someone had a look at it for about 10 mins and couldnt decide what it was they said it looks like a bad bodge job and they have to send details of to the warranty and it will take two weeks for them to tell me the next step. so all in all abit sh1te and i still dont no where i stand with them
