Not starting

This morning turned the ignition in the Ibiza on, sounded like the starter motor was spinning up, but nothing else happened, no chugs or anything? I tried a couple more times and one time I had the oil light flash red 3 times (however oil level was fine). The car was only serviced last month, is a 54 plate with only about 23000 miles on it.

Handbook only says "don't drive the car and contact a service professional", I'm just hoping this isn't expensive as we've just had to pay out for a new cambelt and tensioners along with the service.
