Thing is, i want to do fair few engine mods, ill be dropping the car on coilies and probs some 18's, but most definately FMIC as ive got one knokcing around the garage brand new, ill get a custom system, remap, dump valve, filter but what else can i do to get a decent bhp on the leon without spending stupid money.

What Can i expect??

Go straight for the LCR, with a remap you'll get 270 BHP and thesame with torque. You won't get this with a LC. Also you'll get the 18" wheels, brembo brakes easier to lower etc etc.
With the current prices on these you will get one very very cheaply

I have the Cupra engine, and with a decat and downpipe, forge 007p valve, cold air intake, and custom remap I'll be looking at about 225hp. The FMIC will ensure your car maintains it's power for longer as it keeps intake temperatures down.

There are some nice Cupras that pop up in the classifieds on this forum for around that money :)

the top bhp for an leon cupra 01 onwards will be around 240odd. to get that all you really need is a sports cat/bigger downpipe and good custom map.... i got these figures on my own car with these mods at one point.

above that gets expensive as the turbo becomes the bottle neck.
a well tuned cupra is a nice fast car... bumpers can be changed in case you find a cheap pre facelift:)
