lol mate you gotta have a blast on the ring as your there may as well even if you was gonna cruse it round, its like being on the autobahn and only keeping to 70mph:rolleyes:
your lucky mate living in kent so close to dover,it was a long drive for me fron bham, been twice 9hrs roughly to get there
cost wise you can do it for about 400 id say, cruse down there and back about 60/70 you can get there and back for about 200 pound there is a b/b we stayed the guy who owned the place spoken no!!!English at all it was pretty funny to work things out for a room but that as well was about 45 euro each per night this place was about 20 mins from the track I remember.
it has a bathroom and a bed simple is what you need nothing flash whats the point, they sell 102 oct next to the ring as well,i went in may 2012.bro went in his seat Ibiza cupra 70 euro filled up at the ring and got to south west London,145mph on the autobahn also

Yeah I can get there in mine in just over half a tank, I know what you mean but it'll just be a quick last minute getaway if we go as the other half needs a couple of days away, so I suggested the nurburg as a bloke would do  but not too bothered if the weather plays up and can't go round as I've been round plenty of times even though she never has, it'll just be a place to visit with plenty of sightseeing aswell and of course the track

I've done the cruising round a lap thing aswell, was first on scene at a bad accident in 2009 and had to stop other cars in the rain (fun!) at hatzenbach by running back up the hill whilst trying to use my mobile to call for aid, when I finally got back to my car the paramedic told me to get back in mine and finish my lap as the track was closed, so as I had the track to myself I just cruised round 30/40mph? Took ages but I wasn't really in the mood to floor it, window down and arm out, yeah I was happy enough

I know that was 2012 but thats pretty good prices and like you say aslong as it has a roof and a door who cares?

Sorry OP for going sideways with this, I'm sure it'll get full up with other pointless drivel before you go away

Yeah, if you could remember dude that would be great! Thanks

right then mate, lol bit dodge in how this looks but put in this address into goole maps and the b/b in on the main road to the left hand side coming from the ring.there should be a sign saying b/b we just drove by and spotted it that way anyway.

picture.php

the hotel is either to the left or the right of this building,(cant quite remember)for some reason when I was outside the b/b I taken a picture of it don't know why, haha
over the road there is a large area where you can park you car as well.
this is the road of the b/b pal
Tannenweg 53520, Dümpelfeld, Germany
,i remembered the route some how
if you have no luck there turn back going to the ring and you will pass a small town there is a few places there but they were pretty pricey.
good little blast as well from the ring to b/b,the place is pure 1970s style but its a place to stay and isn't bad imo,ive stayed in much worse.
id get some German written down as well and show him what you need lol sounds stupid but it help big time, some how we got our rooms in the end
