Odd question - wing mirrors

Are they supposed to match the body colour?

On my Magnetic Grey V2 the mirrors are clearly a shade or two lighter than the paintwork. Is that right?

No. Wing mirrors and the bottom of the car body (plastic protection around wheel arches ...) is in a different color (gray). This is very visible on white or red cars.

On some Cupra websites I've seen they were hinting at ability to choose from couple of variants of color for wing mirrors, but I haven't seen this in any configurator.

As you can see, color of the wing mirrors is the same as the color of the wheel arch protection. No worries with your car, they didn't mount wrong ones.

Some cars have wing mirrors in a different color. Usually sporty cars as it's imitating weight saving .

I'm not really keen on the color used, especially since magnetic tech metallic is darker than the contrasting color. I'd preferred a darker color, perhaps even black. I may wrap mine, I'll see how I feel about it in person.
