Hi guys, can anyone confirm the OEM alloy wheel size for the freetrack?
I'd also like to know the original tyre size too.

I bought my freetrack 2nd hand, & it came with an enourmous set of alloys, but I'm looking to get back to the original dimensions.

The information I have suggests OEM freetrack wheels & tyres should be as follows;

tyres:
225/50/17

wheels:
17 x 7"
5 x 112mm fitting
ET 54 offset

Thanks in advance...:D

jontbone For tyre sizes see this post

Sere Motor on the dealer network has a post on Freetrack alloys. I recently bought one for £220 including delivery....

Which is slightly cheaper than the £313.85

Also have i look at SGpetch as they have ones there which are not the original but will do I think around £500!

Just a quick question for everyone who has a Freetrack what PSI do you need to pump up to. The stick is not in the fuel cap!

Thanks kinjamin, so thats the tyre size sorted. Interesting that the oem load rating is only 94, I assumed they would be 98 or xl on such a big car.

G'ad to see you got a better price for the alloy you were after.:D

I'm going to buy a 2nd hand set of 17 x 7 altea sport wheels, as I can't really afford a new set at the mo, hence my questions referring to wheel size & fitment. I'm fairly sure the wheels I'm buying are the same size & fitment as the oem freetrack ones, but if someone knows the definate answer, that would be great!

According to SGPetch...

http://seat-altea-freetrack.sgpetch...-wheels/accessory=Alloy+Wheel+17+Inch/id=5879

17 Inch Alloy Wheel:- 7 spoke alloy wheel in polished anthracite silver. Includes hubcap with SEAT logo. For tyre sizes refer to TUV supplied with wheels.

Please Note:- 7x 17", ET-54, 5x112 fitment.

I guess that is the fitment!

Do the alloys come with the centre wheel hub cap? If not then there is an extra cost!

Jon, If you have a sticker on the back the fuel cap plate that relates to the PSI I would love to know what the PSI of the Freetrack tyres are?

Nice one thanks! I'm getting five alloys, 4 with centre caps.

Just checked the sticker for tyre psi, see below....

Front
Normal load 32, full load 36

rear
Normal load 32, full load 44

I'm suprised the rear when fully laden requires 44 psi! Still, thats what the official sticker says!

just out of interest jontbone what alloys have you got on your xl now ?

The wheels on now are a set of replica BBS RS GT. They are split rim 19". I don't know the width, but they are shod with 245/40/19.

They came on the car when i bought it, I think they look cool especially as my freetrack has body coloured bumpers, makes it very unique looking! A bit of a headturner when clean (probably because most people don't know what it is)

The problem is the wheels have corroded badly, all the laquer is dropping off. I'm planning to have a stab at refurbishing them myself, afterwards I may keep them or sell them, depends on demand.

Thanks for the information! Interesting to see that my XL has 32 at the front and 29 at the rear so on the Freetrack the Haldex system must distribute the weight around! Will check the tyre pressures now!
