Oil change on 1.6tdi

Hi all. So I’m going to change the oil in my car over the weekend and this is the first time I’ve done it to this car, before I get into it... what is the setup with the sump plug? My previous cars I have bought a new plug and/or washer for each oil change, do I need one for the SEAT?

If it's plastic, get a new plug and fitting tool. Gently tighten till it clicks, no more. If it's steel, replace the crush washer.

It's a steel drain plug and you'll get away without changing the crush washer the first change. Just nip it slightly past the correct torque. The filters don't come with a new drain plug crush-washer.

The filter housing is plastic and the new filter comes with a set of new washers for the filter housing. It's a faff, like a lot of things on these cars.
