Furthermore, I appear to have lost approx half a dipstick worth of oil since service last September..

I’m assuming if it’s under the manifold then it’s PCV related. I’m not convinced you’d lose that much oil from pcv leaks. Has your car ever had any pcv pipes replaced? If not they’ll almost certainly be knackered.

I’ve posted diagrams and part numbers of the pcv in the past, but the issue is that you can’t buy the OEM parts anymore. People go for catch cans but I’m a sucker for keeping things OEM.

I've used these sets from ebay. For the price they are great quality. 2 years since i fitted the set and no leaks so far. I have the AUQ engine though, I think a couple of the BAM pipes are different.

Thanks for this but does not mention BAM in the eBay listing? Does that matter

Yeah it matters mate, at least some of the pipes are definitely different on the BAM. Hopefully you'll be able to find the equivalent BAM set. Maybe try amazon too?

I got the full set off Creations Motorsport.
Also worth getting a new 90 degree plastic elbow and a new PCV valve whilst you are replacing all the pipes.

I remember pulling on the 90 degree elbow and it shattering in my hand. Had to get the bottom part out with circlip pliers. Good times!!🙂
