Just done a trackday at Mallory park with sticky tyres and grabby brake pads.
I noticed that the oil temp gauge, aftermarket one, was showing up to 140 Celsius., it never went over this even with prolonged track use. When I pulled in the paddock the oil pressure was down to around 10psi and the light was on, again aftermarket gauge. No warning lights on the dashboard though.
My question.........
Is this normal or too hot, if so its time to get a cooler and drop the oil.
