Mine was a may 11 reg with 2k on it so yano. I had no rough running never felt a missfire but the light came on so I got it sorted!

They put the update up from when i bought it apparently urm not had rough running and the light hasnt been on since that last time but its still goin in

Can someone please upload a vid of how a cupra sounds like when misfiring just to be sure mine is not cause sometimes mine sounds weird when starting up ?

I was asking cause I shakes a little sometimes when I start it up, it sounds like it's trying to pump the petrol up but I'm not sure

Then I rev it up a little while on N mode and it gets back to normal

They all seem to hesitate on first start up. As soon as I rev or drive off and stop, it's fine. If it's the same thing don't worry, but if concerned get it looked at just to be sure.

Yea sounds normal. Misfires are pretty noticeable and the main thing like tsi boy said is vibration.

You may also notice that the EPC light flashes up on your dash and in worse scenarious you will experience a loss of power, almost like the car is starving for fuel.

Yeah that what I got seems to progress to this after a while of just the misfiring

that's what I had last week in mine. Had the latest software flashed and checked the fuel pump after which was working just fine. Did have misfires on 1, 3and 4 cylinder though, checked plugs and coil packs too and they were just fine. So it definately seems to be a software issue from what i can gather and perhaps oil. I am changing my oil from 5w30 to 5w40 which remains a little thicker at the higher temp range.
