Yay! One-touch windows open/close is sorted!

It was down to, errrr.... operator error :dave:

The switches for the front windows in the drivers
door console have a two-step action to them.
I was lightly pressing or lifting the switches and
releasing at the first resistance stop. However if
you apply more pressure then you can feel the switch
move past the first resistance stop. It's the action
of moving past this resistance stop that causes the
one-touch open/close to occur.

Duh!

I have a minor issue with the one touch function of one of the windows.
When I press the button once (past the resistance) it stops when I release the button. But if I roll down the window all the way and "one-touch" it (again past the resistance) it rolls up without any problem.
Probably the reason is faulty or not properly adjusted button and I'll have to take off the card and examine it closer, but I wanted to hear your opinion and experience on this.

Thanks :).

I found that when my windows stopped working on the one press up or down after replacing the battery I got it working again by keeping the button pressed down when the windows were down or by keeping the button pressed for up when the windows were up I held it for 3 or 4 seconds and the auto up and down then worked again.

Thank you for you input.
Unfortunately I've already tried that and still no change.
