Onvi yellow mk3 ibiza cupra

Hi guys new to the forum. Not so new but not really been to active.

I bought a completley standard onvi yellow mk3 cupra a few months back as i sold my old one and missed it ever since.

115k fresh respray small service history but looked clean completley unmolested. £1100 quid. Decent price i think.

Ill have to to dig out the pictures from when i bought it.


Done a few things since i bought it such as replace the driver side window motor shock horror it didnt work what a suprise .

Put some fresh pressed plates on and dewipered the rear

Took the seats out and cleaned underneath and regreased the runners as they were sticking.

Yes marbles in the runners funny what you find under a seat

All clean

Ive also fitted an alpine head unit and alpine doors speakers as the standard are awful. Sounding good now.

Fitted rear 15mm hubcentric spacers make a big difference

Then just a general clean and tidy up ill let the pic do the talking.

Thanks mate.Yeah got it at a good price wasnt that clean when i bought it it had been sat under a tree for about 2 months and not moved so was covered in all sorts.
Went mad cleaning it spent a weekend cleaning everything wash clayed polished and waxed took bloody ages but worth the results in the end.

Basically i just want to keep it really clean.
Dont wanna go mad with it so probably take it to stage 2 any reccomendations on exhausts downpipe and decat would be great.
And cupra r brembos
Coilovers and anti roll bars
Decent tyres and enjoy it lol
I just want it to be very clean example really think that can be done without too much work.

Probably polybush it aswell i just want it stage 2 and driving perfect. Although it does has a very very annoying rattle from the engine bay only when i driving along doesnt disapear when u put clutch down and rev but doesnt do it at idle ? Any ideas ?

Downpipe i would go custom 3inch, brembo brake's are rare & go for about £500, coilovers... you got weitec, AP, KW. Arb, you got h&r or neuspeed

Yeah i had weitecs on my old one didnt mind them heard aps are the ones to go for though whats your thoughts ? And what about exhaust system ? Was thinkin blueflame or miltek?

Sweet looks like my mind made up then are the 2.5 inch downpipes worth it cuz im a bit of a **** for having everything matching i see blueflam do a downpipe but its only a 2.5 inch

Yeh blueflame are good but rare, they defo do a 2.75inch Dp but i personally would go for a custom 3inch Dp, its all about the flow, my mate has a 2.5inch Dp on his ibiza & there is a difference when we have a play

I have no experience with other coilovers so i cannot comment

Seat but they come with that rubber coating so your better off sanding down the ones you got and spray them

I tried seat they cant get the top bits only the grab handle surround and they want 86 quid lol what u think about painting them with because i tried vinyl paint from halford and its just horrific lol ill chuck some pictures up to show you the result haha
