Evening.

I painted my hubs and calipers this weekend, and I am somewhat unsure on the red calipers? I wanted them a darker shade of red. But I think I have made it look tacky/chavvy?



 
I think it looks good mate, the exact same on my car although mine is passion red. Good work!

Red calipers always look better on dark colour cars
 
Not bad, I cant imagine any other color on black car. The only thing I can mention is that calipers "bling" compared to taillights and reflectors
 
Hi, they do stand out a bit but thats the idea and its only cos you're not used to it and its fresh paint. Give it a month and it will grow on you. They look smart. Out of curiosity did you use aerosol or brush and did you paint them on or off the car? Also did you use primer?

Looks great mate! as above tho, after a few months of brake dust and sh1t from the road they will dull down a little
 
Thats exactly what i did on mine last oct with hammerite red smooth. They do dull down quick.

Thankou for the comments. I do hope they dull down, otherwise I will redo them in a darker red, I do think its a nice contrast mind.
