opinions on bbs for leon fr

Hey, just wanted a few opinions on these wheels, not sure if i should stick with them or not, any comments welcome.

I think they look "ok", are they 17's??? i think if you lowered your car a bit it would make a hell of a differance! also if funds allow get a set of skirts and spoiler as it makes a huge differance to the overall look of the car mate.

yeah they're bbs co's in 17. small i know, i didnt think that extra inch would make so much of a difference. its been lowered, got sportlines fitted on fri before i got the wheels put on so they wouldnt look as small. wouldnt mind the skirts and spoiler, its a nice combination that

was it lowered when you took those photos? it looks fairly high at the back mate... Theres nothing wrong with the wheels you have, i think they suit the car but i just think it needs a little something???

yeah the pics were taken today. sportlines lower the front more than the back so it is a little nose-downish. the wheels are nice yeah, i do agree it's missin somethin though

dont forget that it will drop a little bit yet once there is a few 1000 miles on them.

Thing with 17's is the car handles and performs better than it does with 18's, I personally think the Leon needs 18's as it is a bulky car to look at from the side mate

yeah thats exactly why i went for the 17's, just tryin to convince myself ive made the right choice

if all else fails paint them black, always makes your wheels look bigger froma distance as its hard to tell differance between tyre and wheel.

yeah i was thinking about that too, haha, anything to make them look a little bigger. not sure about black on silver though, was thinking more like gun mteal sort of colour, it should still help them blend with the tyre a bit

its alright, just my opinion and everyone is differant mate! at the end of the day you need to like the look of it, dont worry what everyone else thinks...

This is mine on sporlines on 18" BBS CH's. I think your wheels look well but i think you should paint them a darker colour. As you said, gun metal or anthracite as i don't think silver wheels go so well on a silver car. Mind you, that's only my opinion. Others may think differenty

yeah they look really good mike, im not a big fan of the silver on silver either, the silver lip on yours is nice- much better than just pure black, but on 17's i think it might make them look too small. think gun metal could be the way to go, have to have a think about it, maybe get a photoshop request on the go

sounds like a plan. Get them painted and see how they look. BBS are quality wheels and i'd only change them as a last resort. Let us know how you get on

color isn't right for the car and the wheels are a tad be small mite be right for an ibiza but for a Leon.

not too keen on only thing I would do is to change the color to either black or gunmetal but that's personal preference
