Features:
Yokohama’s advanced tread compound delivers unprecedented grip in wet or dry conditions, while improving treadwear.
Low void to tread ratio keeps more rubber-to-road contact for maximum performance.
Wavy center ribs add stability and lightning-fast steering response during high-speed driving.
Outer rib walls are rounded to reduce uneven treadwear.
Tiny slits in the groove walls help effectively distribute stress loads to minimize uneven wear.
Specially placed steel inserts help resist lateral deflection while providing superior handling control and enhanced cornering.

It was between these, yokohama parada spec 2's and toyo proxe t1-r's.

I decided on these as paradas a proxes were good in dry, but scary in wet.
My brother had them on his vx220 and at £625 i hope they are worth it! They meant to be the best semi slick track and road tyre available.

Will fit these tuesday and report back!

paid £280 for two p-zero neros demon tweeks price of £207 for Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 and would cost me £20 to get em fitted
edit i worked vat out wrong they would be £245 so only just cheaper

Going for hankook RS2's next heard good thing and much cheaper!

You ordered the wrong tyre - the load rating should be 92 for a Leon and not 88.

I can't see it making A difference. When they order tyres at work for subarus, jags, porsches etc they only check size and speed rating. Never the load :/

Those tyres are good to 2240kg and the car weighs 1995. Im going to have them, can't see th exploding on me.

Maybe, but if they did, it would be one of the first things your insurance inspector looked at.

This is true. Insurance companies employ people like me to inspect cars after a collision. The first thing I check is tyres. Not just tread depth, but speed and load rating too.

Incorrect load index will fail an MOT (a keen tester). My LCR has a 91 XL load rating. Its not just static weight the tyre needs to support, but also cornering stress. Bottom line...dont risk it. Dont give your insurance an excuse to not to pay out.
