Osram 65w H7

I've been looking at the Osram 65w h7 as an alternative to the hid route and found the following info regarding output:

Standard h7 1500 lumens
Nightbreaker/extreme 1700 lumens
Osram 65w 2100 lumens
hid 3200 lumens

The nightbreakers/extremes only give an extra 200 lumen which probably explains why i've been disappointed with them in the past. The Osram 65w seems to be a bigger step up.

Has anyone tried these bulbs (couldn't find it in a search) and would the extra 10 watts cause any damage (long and short term) to the canbus system?

I heard positive comms about nightbreakers as people use them on their MINI's as the lights are shat on them.

Are the 65w Osrams road legal?

No they're not road legal. Quite expensive too at £14 each from pheonix auto bulbs.
