Outdoor Car Cover

I've had a search and can't just spot anything, looking to see if any one has one and how much, where from, any good, etc for a cover for my Mk2 Leon.

I'm often out with it early doors on a Sunday for a drive and thus I usually wash it on the Saturday so we're looking pretty, but that plan is almost always foiled by a bit of rain, dew or birds, and I've nowhere undercover to put it for the night :censored: :censored:

Many thanks in advance!

I have a couple of Stormforce covers I use on my Ibizas. They are a decent fit, they stay on in the wind, they are breathable (so you can put them on with the car wet), and they are not too expensive. The Stormforce cover for the Mk2 Leon costs around £150. Obviously I cannot vouch for the fit of the Leon cover, but if the Ibiza one is a guide, then it should be OK.

I used to have a more expensive (~£300) cover for my Evo, and although it looked more tailored when it was on the car, it was not that secure in the wind, so I personally would not bother paying the extra for a 'higher quality' cover again.

Thanks, I shall investigate further and see what I can find, always good to see what people say about stuff before spending the hard-earned on it!

I have always considered a cover. Dont drive the car much at all and it kills me having given it some love on a weekend to watch it sit there just getting s**t high doing nothing.
At the minute looks a bit like ive done the Dakar rally but it hasnt moved!!

Even worse its in the backyard and subject to falling pebble dash (previous owner!!!) and probs just more dust in general.

I looked at the Stormforce covers before they looked good. I think Seat do one themselves.

My main concerns are:
1. Abrasion to the paint from movement, putting it on/off if the car is not clean or something gets into the cover.
2. Abrasion from wind movement when its on.
3. What the hell to do with the cover when off and its peeing down?

Points 1 & 2 there are definitely my biggest worries! I don't want it to cause more problems than they'd prevent! And what are you meaning by No.3? As in when the car is already wet from the rain and you want to throw the cover on it?

Ahh, I see your issue, I could hang it round the back of the house (we have a carport/cover thing) and leave it there, or in the garage, so I don't really have that problem :p
