Went to open the car this morning and it wouldn't open. The Led on the fob was flashing but nothing. Went to halfords and got a new battery and still nothing. Had to open the boot and climb in, then turn on the ignition to be able to open the door. But the case now is i can't lock the car. Gonna take it to Seat Droitwich tmrw, but am getting fed up of this car!
Anybody else have have this problem??

maybe the key needs to be re coded to your car mate! orthe sensor in the car is faulty and cant recive signals

thing hasn't got a key hole in the door, nor passenger side. How wack is that! so if your battery goes, u've gotta go through the boot?? have you guys got key holes?lol

My old one did and I'm sure they all do so it seems like your car's been delocked in the past.

calm down fella! obviously your car has been delocked in the past matey as it is a common break in point but wont go into to much detail!

im delocking mine asap tho! sounds like the key either needs to be reprogrammed to your caror something is faulty with your central locking system take it to the dealers again and have a firm word!

Rash, im just tired and don't need anymore problems with it. I bought a newish car thinking it would be plain simple. In the manual it says if the button won't open the car it needs synchronising. But one of the steps to do this involves putting key b into ignition and key a into the key hole in the door. Ofcourse i had to have a car that has been delocked lol! Another thing whover says these cars handle allright, has obviously never driven a real sports car. My next mod will defiantely be sorting the suspension!!It's appaling. Why did seat put a decent engine into a car with no dynamics. Clarkson was right nice car if you don't mind having a chassis thats a generation old.
