if your only going stage 1 then blufin would be best for warrenty reasons, although ive herd the "im only going stage 1" and the next thing you know your at stage2+ and if i was going that far, Revo all the way mate.

i had my stage 1 done at p torque (not cupra) standard 155bhp(140) with map 192bhp & 312lb/ft after a month 208bhp & 298lb/ft. obviously give or take due to dyno lottery.

I had the revo trial and i will be going with them, although if p torque wasn't 5 and a half hours drive i would possibly go with them as stage 1 with rr is £295 and revo is £575.

i'd make the trip mate, make a day of it ;) hehe. But seriously, Will at p-torque knows what he's on about and does a top job. I had my car mapped by p-torque over 15 months ago, no problems at all.

I had my car remapped at P-torque 15 months ago and i've had no problems at all but tbh i'll be going to RS tuning
in leeds once the uprated clutch and flywheel are fitted.
Had mine rolling roaded there yesterday morning, I hit a figure of 175.1bhp at the flywheel
and 145 at the wheels, i've got a full straigh through exhaust, no cat or back box, forge front mount and modified IC pipework.

Was told by RS tuning this is the norm for a 130PD remapped engine with these mods BUT they were very conserned about the boosting
because mine spikes at 2 bar and then backs down to a constant boost of 1.7 bar, they say this is far too high
and that they can/will remap it to only boost at 1.55 bar and yet produce the same or infact more power than before.

I wouldn't hesitate in going back to will though, only thing that puts me off are those horror storied of the hybrids blowing up!!

I think you have only read the bad things....

I have tuned over 30 hybrid conversions.... some for track use and they have been perfect..

The secret is to only fit new hybrid units not re-con units...

As for stage 1 maps, I run a maximum of 1.5 bar.....
