Hi all,
Getting P0299 fault code on reader, got a vac pump, disconnected hose from N75 to actuator connected pump to actuator nipple not pulling any vac.
Connected pump to tube from N75 started engine gauge goes to around 23mm, is this what it should do?
So I guess the actuator is goosed but should the N75 always pull vac or is that goosed too?

Cheers

If the actuator's leaking and not moving the rod then yeah I'd expect the ECU to keep trying to move it as the actuator has a position sensor on it so the ECU will know it's not in the position it wants it (hence the fault code).

Turbo actuator sounds like it's gone like mine did the other week, part cost £100‐£200 depending where you go, few hours work to fit and calibrate unless you do it the guess way without sticking it in the computer. Some garages will tell you it needs a full turbo but they're wrong if just the actuator has died.
