Just a quick bit of practical advice. I have got my DS2500 pads to go on the LCR (thanks to the excellent guide o nthe front page it looks pretty easy), and I am aware there is a pad wear sensor on the nearside wheel. What exactly do I need to do with it because of the new pads not having that sensor? I have tried searching, but it just brings up loads of threads saying the sensor is useless.

I don't want to end up with a light on the dash all the time!

Thanks in advance chaps.

all i did is put a male square electrical connector over the two pins, you know the ones you buy from halfords in a small plastic tin, with blue sleeves on them. Then tape it all up,Sorted

Thanks! Never figured it would be that easy. I can't be bothered to do it tonight so it will have to wait until the weekend, but didn't want to get to then and be clueless.

Nearside front is all I am worried about at the moment, but I believe there is a sensor nearside rear too. Probably won't have the car long enough to worry about that though.

cool just that i never done anything with mine when i put the ferrodos in the front and just lived with the light being on but wanted it out when i px it in, but cant px untill the house sale has gone through so not in a busting hurry!

I never bothered doing anything with it except for cable tieing it out of the way. No lights/errors for me. Proves how accurate the sensors are i suppose!
