Any input is appreciated.
I got a 2 year old Ibiza with Silver (Luna Grey) paint. I've always looked after it by washing it regular and waxing every 6 months.
So after washing and drying today, I've apply Turtle wax as I normally do. When I came to buffering off the wax, I was shocked to discover the rear bumper right on the top just where the boot meet, that whole upper area was so rough. I struggle to remove the wax, and closely examine it to find that it feel and look as though the whole 'glossy' surface of the paint has been removed.
This was very puzzling as I haven't notice this during washing or drying, and even applying the wax.
I've then tried to apply some polish, but that had no effect.
So I want to know if anyone had the same experiences before?
What should I do to restore the smooth feel?
Many Thanks
