Paint????

Right,

Was washing the car the over day and noticed that the lacquer is flaking off the front bumper.

Obviously l've purchased the car second hand and it's now a few years old (51 plate), but was just wondering if there is any warranty on the paint from SEAT??

Or am l stuck with the bill of getting it sorted.

Think it was a 5 year warranty mate though im sure others will confirm / comment otherwise.

Maybe the cars had paint at some point in its life?

If it's a 5 year warranty, then l missed out on that.

Nah it hasn't been resprayed, although suppose could get that checked by a garage too make sure.

It's 6 years mate.

I jsut managed to get my boot resprayed by SEAT because of rust.

Although front bumper they might say is stone chips and is not covered. I say take it in as you should still be covered.

I think they changed it from 3 year to 6 year.

it's 6 year anti corrosion and 1 or 3 (cant remember) year paint warranty on the mk3

be very lucky to get lacquer covered at this age
