Painted the calipers today.
Painted the calipers red and painted the centre and edge of the disc black.
Only done the drivers side as it was too cold.
Also took the time to clean the wheels and put a coat of Supaguard on them.
I removed the front calipers but got away with doing the rear ones on the car.
What do you think?
Still to do this side.

Done the drivers side.

Looking good, considering doing this myself its just getting time to do it.

Anywho was it a standard kit you used?

Much better mate.

Off topic, what did you use to clean the wheels?

I didn't use a kit I just used smooth Hammerite paint.
I've used it for years on various cars and it's cheap easy to use and one small tin does loads of calipers.
It also lasts really well as well.
As for cleaning the wheels just soap and water although they are only two days old.
The job is easy although I did remove the front calipers as I couldn't get in to the areas but you could probably leave them on.
Just make sure they are really clean.
I just had to give them a wipe with thinners but I usually rub them done with a wire brush first.
Give them one coat leave for about 45 mins and give them a second coat.

It's funny how you have a red car and done them yellow where as I have a yellow car and done them red.
I was going to do them yellow but they are a pain to keep clean plus I thought the Cupra ones are red and there's also some red in the interior.
Silver car I would do them red also.

On a side note where did you get the splitter?
I was thinking it could do with something at the front.

Norrie.
