Panoramic roof

So following on from my Cupra mpg thread and as the whole Cupra thing becoming more of a possibility, any views on the Pano roof. In general I love the extra light in cabin, particularly with anthracite headlining, and I think the exterior black panel looks quite cool (unless on black car in which case no point). However are there any known issues etc..?

We had one in the Ibiza we just borrowed to Barcelona.

It annoyed me that it didn't slide - which for me is the main point of having it.

Otherwise in the 27C weather, we had it shut. Looked OK tho

fact, it only tilts (about an inch) Ventilation is minimal. Had a panoramic on my c class and it was a full on tilt and slide m0rk is indeed correct - the point of having it.

If you live in a hot country (as I do) I have the shade closed most of the time coz otherwise its a greenhouse effect.

Would I advise you to pay top dollar for it - no
does it look cool - yes

Advice - buy the brakes, park & xenons, everything else is stnd that you need then if the colour you get requires some additonal black accents, get a wrap for the roof or paint it black

The panoramic roof really DOES look cool, photos don't do it justice. If you want it for ventilation, don't get it - but if you want a cool looking car: then definitely get it

Looks ace, but it's utter crap. Worst sunroof on the planet. Also it's not even panoramic in my book, the Honda jazz's panoramic sunroof is far superior.

Just put black vinyl on the roof if that's the look you want.

While the euphoria of a sunroof does wear off, It's still a great feeling when you walk away towards your car and see that you have one Not a lot of people have one, especially one that's joined with the windshield, so it does make the car stand out a lot.

I agree - Wouldn't have paid extra for it - But i,m glad mine had it fitted when i got it.
