parcel shelf retaining clips

Hi all, has anyone else had this problem - it would seem all this cold weather has made one of the retaining clips on my parcel shelf brittle and as a consequence has literally just broken up. Now i would suspect my dealer should be able to replace this under warranty but as its such a small part (and im not sure its a generic part and used in other Seat models) would it take sometime for them to obtain ? Any help on this one would be much appreciated as every time i open the hatch this damn think is now coming out of its mounting point !

See the dealer, they should be able to source the part easy or at least that's what you should expect.

If it was faulty then it will be replaced.

If you bust it being heavy handed maybe not.

thanks for the replies - for the record i believe it may have already been
partially damaged from new as only clip "facia"
was present when it broke - not the shoulder edge of the clip - so at the time it now ses like a jigsaw puzzle with a piece missing !

Mine where brittle when i got my ibiza, and 1 of them kept coming out.I told the dealer when i was collecting it that i wasnt happy and got them both replaced no hassle.

my dealer went some way better than that ! got me a whole new parcel shelf - hows that for super service. Case (for the moment !??!) closed.
