Hello,

I’ve used it and it works really well. Is scary to used but you get used to it. Remember to go nice and slow as if you go to fast it can’t keep up.

Good to hear, cheers. Will give it a go when I get the car... Counting down to the 25th ?

Tried it but.. at 10 seconds of Park Assist.. repented, cancelled it and parked as I've been doing for over 28 years now. The backup camera, projection lines and seeing the 360-degree view is great.

Once you try it, you get spoiled and miss it when you park a car without it.

I am yet to try the parallel parking, I’ve only tried bay parking as also worried about curbing the wheels. I have used it a few times just to show the feature off and it’s never let me down yet so I wouldn’t be worried about using it.

Does the car have 360 camera? I have not seen this in UK brochure.

Tried using it over the weekend in a retail park car park. It's amazing how wherever you go to try it out there is either someone waiting behind you or someone gets into one of the parked cars your trying to park next to. It did half the procedure before I took control and did it myself as I was causing a bit of a hold up. Personally I think it's more of a gimmy as the reversing camera and all around sensors are more than enough to put your mind at ease to park it manually but if the opportunity does arise in a stress free environment then I will use use it very slowly ha.

I had park assist in previous cars, it was even looking for available spaces for parallel parking, but I never used it. I trust myself and mirrors.

In public places, I park away from other cars or choosing sheltered places by the wall or columns, so no one can hit my door. Also, with 2 seaters, you need more space to open the door.
