Parking / reversing sensors - screen?

I have a Leon ST (2014 year) ecomotive with Tech pack. Can anyone tell me if the screen should come on when reversing (factory fitted rear park sensors)? It's been in for some repair on the rear bumper and I thought the screen gave a visual display for reversing (bar type display) but now it doesn't - but it's been so long since it went in for repair that I'm slightly doubting myself!
If anyone can has the same and can confirm what yours does that would be helpful. Thanks

It might, it might not.

I have a 2018 Cupra right now and it does the display thing but my wife's 2017 FR has factory reversing sensors and it doesn't. It's a waste of time anyway. You're not looking at the screen when reversing and shouldn't be.

My screen comes on in my 2015 Leon when reversing to show the park assist with the markers, and stays on while I drive slowly.

Both front and rear. No reverse camera.
