Is this correct?

Very nice! really shows the purple tint well!

Indeed :)

But I have to wonder what its got to do with parking sensors

I was expecting pics of the sensors on a cupra, not just a cupra (although its nice to see it in the black colour). :)

Thanks for posting the pic's. :D

It look's like the spacing isn't equal in that there seems to be more gap between the middle two sensors then a smaller gap to the ends.

Is this the case or just the piccie?

I'm after a factory fit look.

Spacing is definitely wider between the middle two sensors.

As for the beeping. Never really noticed where it comes from buts it's in the cabin and I think it's the speakers.

Cheers mate.

Well I have now added rear parking sensors to my order. £215 all in for them supplying/fitting. Not too bad seeing as the option was £195 for factory fit sensors on the other Leon's that could have them.

Which dealer are you using..rang ours and they want £395 supplied and fitted and colour coded. Did you have to haggle on price?

Just the back and he reckons its a few hundred quid more for front..I reckon he's got that wrong as the rear are only £126 to buy surely they cant charged £270 to fit?? tempted to just get the car and get another dealer to do all the options..

can somebody explain how the front one's work?i mean you put 1st gear and they start biiping?what about the rest of the time that you use 1st gear without trying to park?

They are on all the time and when you approach something you get the beeps, they are a different tone to the rear beep's.

I will also be adding rear parking sensors to mine, my dealer wants £235 to supply paint and fit which I thought reasonable. Although I do need to check that that will still be the price for SEAT approved ones because he quoted me non-SEAT ones saying that there were none approved for the FR or CUPRA (even after me quoting him the part number from the SEAT website)!!!

Is anyone going to have a say it where the sensors are fitted???

I was contemplating telling them to fit the sensors where they would of been if factory fitted.

Yes. My dealer will fit them where I want them. I don't think there is a set place they have to be other to ensure they provide decent coverage.

Out of curiosity, where are you having them placed Scott.

Still not 100% decided. Even considering buying a kit and doing it myself. Possibly one of the number plate surround ones.

If I go the dealer route I might just go for two sensors in the black plastic either side of the plate.
