Pcv valve

Changed pcv valve but still have a light on the dash put a code reader on and it says the circuit is open P0444 code turn code off do a run turn car off then when i restart light is back on can anyone help

It's the N80 evap purge valve, not the pcv valve.

Could just be a fuse, not sure what one it is on the mk2 though

Ok thanks will order a new N80 valve and check the fuses before i go to work will have to use the wifes car

N80 valve replaced
Fuses checked and ok
Still shows 0444 code
What next charcoal cannister or new N80 valve any help will be welcome

This is 2nd n80 valve since new year still shows 0444 code circuit open
Now developed a missfire but not showing on code reader
Anyone got any ideas as its really ticking me off

Probably not the best its a Motopower MP69033 OBD2 It was a presant and i have to be seen to use it

Yea you should probably get VCDS on it and see what's going on. There's only so much you can do with the cheap units.

I do know someone who has a snap on reader that as far as i know is up to date.Will that be any good

Can a competant Diyer fit an n75 valve or is it a garage job

Can i fit NGK 5014 Red Tops in place of Normal Black Top Ignition coils
