Seriously need a new clutch. Ive been looking at a few. This is the one im thinking of: http://www.darksidedevelopments.co....ed-02m-dual-mass-flywheel-and-clutch-kit.html

But ive come across somemore which are way more expensive.

Or this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SEAT-LEON...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cb61a69cf

What will the one in the first link hold? Will it hold 300ft/ib / 400nm torque just fine or do i need more expensive option? I need one asap as mine slipping without remap atm.

As stated in your other thread, Southbend clutches are the best, and no I don't work for them, lol, I've just done a lot of research and they come out top....which is also why I've got one sat here now (5-speed version).

Fair enough. Ive just found this one on ebay and i spoke to them and they said its rated at 520nm of torque. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280648616840

They said its the same as a southbend silent clutch so no noise. Also has a lifetime warrenty on the flywheel and 4 years/40k miles on the actual clutch. Anyone had one as is it any good? They also said its perfect for a daily driver. Just seems a bit cheap. thanks.

EDIT: Just bit the bullet and order it. Got it for £600 :D Getting it fitted next wednesday so will let you know. :D

Good man yourself. That sounds like a bullet proof offer, especially with the guarantee.

So now you can basically add 160 ftlbs to your standard output and be within the limits still.

Keep us updated. I'm curious as to how the clutch pedal will feel under the foot, i.e. heavier or not.

The chattering/shuddering you shouldn't get anyway with this system.

Well, after a 3 week battle for a refund from techniclutch, ive finally got all the £600 back through doing a paypal claim so there wasnt a 20% restocking charge :D

Money is ready for exhaust now, then soon after, a remap :D

Running the stage 2 daily driver southbend clutch for 2 weeks now and its spot on. Cant fault it at all. I must admit theres a slight chatter as i got the SMF but not that loud so its all good. No judder, no slipping and the clutch pedal feels the same just the biting point is nice and low as it should be :D

The only reason i went for the stage 2 daily driver over the stage 1 is because they only had the stage 2 in stock and i needed it quick. Takes them over a week to get it and send it if they are out of stock as its from USA :D

Cant wait to get exhaust on and get it remapped now :D
