Hi all
just want to get some more info before i go and buy the turbo.
i was looking at a 150 turbo unit for my 110 until i spoke to jabba sport and i cant remember what they said now, but they did say that the pd130 turbo will suit my car better than a pd150 turbo, what turbo do you think will be better, just want to get some more opinions:)

Why would a smaller PD130 turbo be better for your car? Next time listern to Jabba so you dont need to post perhaps?!

Its also a question I was asking back, I have no idea why Jabba would say the PD130 turbo would be better for your car, however im 99% sure they told you whilst on the phone to them, so if you had actually paid attention, you could have added their thoughts to why the PD130 turbo would be better to your post so we could have more of a idea between the two on your car.

Otherwise its a PD150 thats going to be better, obv.

PD 130 and 150 turbos have the same size compressor and turbine wheels just different housing, manifold and bolt pattern design. Honeywell KKK turbo`s where prone to shaft failure which is why VAG switched fully to the Garret GT1749v for the PD150/160 range but a mixeture of Garret and Honeywell turbos where used on the earlier PD130 range depending on make and model. Jabba might have been recommending a Garret GT1749v from a PD130 which would be a direct bolt on to your engine without having to use an adaptor if they know your bolt pattern for your engine.
