PD170 What mods next? Many Pictures!

Its been a while since its posted,

So heres an update on whats been happening with my car =]

From where I left off, Custom Induction kit has been installed, and all is well!
Sounds amazing and is just like i wanted hehe.

Prospeed custom induction

Next.......


Next was i attempted to wrap my 'S' Badge,
Not to shabby, but could be better or maybe plasti dip next time, as its probably easier and gets better results?

S Badge wrapped and bits on the grill wrapped orange

Step 1: take grill off and heat the back of the chrome 'S' (When warm, it literally pops out)

Step 2: Cut a bit of vinyl, big enough to cover the 'S' Badge (Heat up and shape the 'S'

Step 3: Trim the excess vinyl (Once trimmed, Heat the back of 'S' again and pop back into grill)

Optional: I decided i wanted the middle bits of the grill orange so i cut some vinyl and put over the centre bits before popping the 'S' badge back into the grill

Complete and fitted back onto car like so:

Look what came through the post =]

Genuine Armrest installed (Very comfy)

Next.........

There is no next
Just decided to clean the car, since the car is now stage 2, the back end is always dirty =/
Looks like i will be going back to stage 1 soon!!!

1/2 clean 1/2 dirty

hi mate did you finally get the egr light sorted ?


btw that looks rather smokey with the amount of soot im running allmost the same power but with less fuel and duration now and the smoke is reduced by over 50%


im now on a difrent tuner thers still a lot of work to be done onmy map but its getin beter


let me kno what happens if you go back to stage 1

Hey mate, nope egr light still on, still waiting for mikko to come back. He's back on the 20th I think? Will have to check.
And yeh no problems mate, will let you know how I get on with stage1 =]

I got parts from online, and a custom exhaust place in Cardiff. Called prospeed exhaust.
He specialises in exhaust systems and induction kits. I might go with a cold airfeed next! Not sure if its worth it though =\

I am likeing the filter looks better than my set up hahahhaha. Love where u going with this keep up the good work

Your leon looks amazing, keep up the work, i am booking myself in for a stage 2 remap + DPF delete with S.H.A.R.K in January, i can't wait, also loving the filter, i will be having something like this in the new year!

Hey guys I will try make a video of induction sound but no guarentee that you will hear the induction noise!!
But believe me it is noisy and you do get the darth vador in glovebox effect lol.

how about putting air suspension on it
