I discovered my pedal box has fractured. 45000 miles after the last one.
I realised no one was directly addressing the problem, which is not the welds but the movement and direction of force. I simply installed 1 bolt and my fractured box now has almost no movement at all.
The bolt i used has a rubber washer just in case. I did not pull the bracket up to the firewall just tightened the bolt until it was firm against the bracket thus allowing for no downward movement.
What do you guys think?
I will be replacing my pedal box but i will do this same mod (or slightly improved) to the new one unless you guys can see a problem?
