This bothers me slightly, because of the abuse pedals get in a car the fact that they just 'clip over' the original pedal mounting strips on the arm worries me. more so when people say 'just fix it with mounting tape'
What if you're in traffic behind someone and your clutch pedal slips off the arm (along with your foot)?
EDIT:
If anyone with the official sport pedals can confirm that they do infact bolt on and those hex bolt heads on the pedals are not for show... much obliged.
If not then i need to rethink my anal retentiveness.
The official seat ones do indeed bolt onto the pedal. You have to remove the rubber covering them first, and secure the new ones with bolts and brackets shaped to fit, which is handy as you don't need to drill the pedal. They are very secure though, and won't come off if you do it right.
An update from me-I bought the TT copies from Amazon and after 6 months the rubber on the brake pedal was wearing and caused my foot to slip off the pedal.
They're now gone and replaced with the Seat ones, fitted in 10 mins and are brilliant although not cheap at £77
