Performance panel air filters

Hi all,

Im looking to upgrade my standard paper air filter for my 16v. Just looking for advice on makes/types/value for money/performance etc. and differences between paper, oiled, cotton, foam etc...

I was reading an excellent back to back test of air filters and induction kits on CGTI yesterday, its on the 16v engine sub forum and it a sticky, Also has useful info on airbox mods.
