Hi everyone,

I have a GPS tracker laying around that was used in my previous car.
I'd like to hide the tracker in the trunk of my Leon VZ 300, but I need a constant 12V power supply (it consumes very little power).
What would be the best hidden constant 12V power supply? A fuse-tap isn't really an option, as they're very easy to find.

Photos are very welcome!

Thanks!
Glenn

I don't know the solution to your question, unfortunately, but have you maybe thought about Seat Connect app? I know it's ****, and you have to pay a subscription, but it also allows you to track your MK4 on a map.

Thanks for your reply. I do have the app and can see my car on the map, but since I have another tracker in my shed, I'd better install that one too.

I didn't check it yet myself, but for what I've read online it isn't.
I don't know if a Leon Mk4 is the same, but my 'close cousin' Golf 7.5 has a 12V supply in the boot which
comes from the factory as only live when the ignition is on, but by just moving it's fuse one notch down
enables both it and the front 12V socket to be constantly live. VW don't mention this in the handbook,
but I found-out about it somewhere on the 'net and can confirm it works.

That was exactly my thought but he has a 230v outlet instead of a 12v socket.
